Incredibly potent.

Remarkably Simple.

You may know why you withdraw during conflict, silence what you want, perform competence, or repeat the same dynamic from one relationship to the next. But insight gained alone can become difficult to access when another person is actually in front of you.

Some parts of us only become visible in relationship with others. This practice gives you a place to encounter those patterns while they are happening, hear how other people experience you, and try another way of meeting the moment.

“It’s pretty powerful when someone who has only known you for two hours gives you the same feedback that your partner has been giving you for years.”

1.

THE PROCESS

Participants are invited to sit in a circle, be aware of what is arising within them in the moment.

3.

2.

Skilled facilitators guide, support and participate in the dialog cultivating an environment that allows for vulnerability, connection and emotional deepening.

Participants are encouraged to share their experience, candidly, honestly

What unfolds is a simple but powerful process that is similar to a combination of meditation and talk therapy while being simultaneously totally distinct that allows participants to:

  1. Encounter their patterns while they are happening.

  2. See themselves through other people’s responses.

  3. Receive feedback that makes invisible patterns visible.

  4. Try ways of being that feel risky, unfamiliar, or impermissible.

  5. Remain in contact with themselves while also remaining connected to another person.

  6. Practise repeatedly within a community rather than having an isolated experience.

Relationship makes the pattern visible, the group helps hold it, and practice creates another possibility.

Another way of being.
